Just came back from Tekong this evening.
These past few weeks have been tough but fun in a way. ^^;
Cant reveal much details of it as we were affirmed to secrecy during the enlistment ceremony, so yea... got to cover my butt XD
Made new friends in my bunk, quite a cool bunch i'd say, though influences may not be that good. Been teased as a baby-faced guy, and also called on to draw girls to satisfy their 'desires' during the 13 week training. Other than that, i'd say my platoon section is a great team. =)
Also missed my friends and family, and especially someon...oops.

I don't really like the military conscription system in a way... i mean, for some people like me, we still have issues which we've yet to deal with especially with my personal life and career. I have been asked to do up a commission with someone, but sadly i have to turn him down due to national service....and there goes my opportunity. Oh wells, like what they always say in army...'just suck thumb' (in short, we just have to bear with it.)
Yea, and also managed to find some time to actually draw during training bah, especially during admin time. Don't want my skills to get rusty...(though sadly i think it already has....)
And just today when i stepped back onto the mainland, i feel so....free. After being caged up in tekong, the sense of being able to step back into civilian life can't be properly described bah. You just feel so much more at ease in a way.
So just a piece of advice to future pre-enlistees (Don't take your current life for granted. treasure your freedom! You may feel that your current freedom is limited... but trust me, it's the best one you can get. I used to refuse listening to this piece of advice, and now i kind of regretted it, but still every guy has to pass through this phase somehow, somewhere.)
Okay then...Will be making full use of my 2 day break bah.
alrites then, gonna go sleep, missed my sleeping routine for the past 2 weeks. XD
